Dr Z. H. Sholapurwala has a rich experience of 41 years in the field of Advanced Weapon Systems & futuristic Weapon Systems. He has been in most of the critical programmes of National Importance like Compact RADAR and Missile electronic components, High-Value asset protection from EMP, Integrated guided Missile Programmes Agni, Prithvi and Akash., Rohini-Revathi, Weapon Locating Radar, Akash Missile Transmitter, etc. He is an M Tech from the Los Alamos University of New Mexico in High Voltage and another MTech from the University of California in “Critical Mass Implosion Techniques for Nuclear Tempers”.
He was conferred with “In Service to the Nation” by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Vikas Ratan Award, and Life Time Achievement Award. Dr Z. H. Sholapurwala is a Managing Director Zeonics Systech Defence & Aerospace Engineers in Bangalore.

Dr Apurbba Kumar Sharma is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is presently the Dean of Academic Affairs of IIT Roorkee. He has supervised fifteen doctoral programs and completed six externally funded research projects. He has published more than a hundred research articles in journals and filed ten patents in India. He has chaired several technical sessions in International conferences, including MSEC (ASME) in the USA. He represents IIT Roorkee as the Principal Member in the Pneumatic Tools Sectional Committee, PGD08 of Production and General Engineering Department at the Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi. His prime research interests include – advanced machining and finishing, micromachining and microwave material processing. Dr. Sharma is a DAAD fellow, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a Member of ASME (USA) and SME (USA).

Col A K Gupta (Retd) is a dynamic professional with nearly three decades of rich experience in Technical Training, Maintenance Operations, Project Management, Life Cycle Optimization and Engineering Processes of Defense Weapon Systems. The officer is a specialist in Armament & Instruments and possess in-depth expertise in handling various armament issues pertaining to Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Process Audit, Mission Reliability, and User Trials. He has acquired several professional and academic qualifications such as ME in Armament Engineering, BE (Mechanical), and PGDM in Supply Chain & Logistics Management. Col Gupta has been bestowed with many honours, including the Chief of Army Commendation Card and GOC-in-Commendation Cards

Prof. Bhavana Jharia, has made a significant contribution in academics through scientific research and scalable design expertise during three decades of her incessant efforts in the area of Electronics and Communications Engineering. She is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee and has more than 45 research papers to her credit, besides Six Patents. She was the HOD EC Department Ujjain Engineering College, followed by a deputation stint in Bhopal for more than five years. She is presently the HOD, EC Department at Jabalpur Engineering College.

Dr. Samrita Banerjee, MBBS, MD; a member of the scientific advisory board is an internationally acclaimed clinician & scientific researcher for over 22 years both as a practicing physician/surgeon & industry physician with expertise in drug development. Received medical graduate training from the University of Calcutta & abroad in St. Petersburg and several years of practicing in the healthcare industry & worked as a scientific research physician in immune-oncology in global pharmaceutical companies like Merck, Bayer, Sanofi to name a few.

Dr K. Hariharan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras. Before joining IIT Madras, he served in IIT Delhi as an Assistant Professor and a postdoc researcher in the Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (GIFT, POSTECH), South Korea. Hariharan blends his academic research with his rich experience in the automotive industry. He had spent more than 8 years in the research department of commercial, automotive manufacturer, Ashok Leyland Ltd.
Dr. Hariharan broadly focuses on the mechanical behaviour of materials in their application to manufacturing processes. He has contributed more than 50 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He is also a review board member in the journal “Materials and Manufacturing Process”.
